This podcast examines Borg’s understanding of the Bible that allows us to take the Bible seriously without taking it literally. This podcast presents a “new set of lenses” through which to read and understand the Bible. For many the Bible has ceased to be meaningful. Understood as Borg does, the Bible is ancient communities’ experiences and stories about God that continue to challenge and illumine our own. Borg liberates the Bible and us! The podcast invites us to read the Bible again for the first time.
