Our next Second Saturday Conversation will be June 13, 2026. 9:30-11:00 am pacific time.

All our sessions are free. But you need to RSVP to receive a link to the gathering. All are welcome. We are fortunate on Second Saturday to explore Christianity in and for the 21st century. This session will be doing just that.

By popular demand Brandon Scott and Jack Caputo return to explore what is meant by resurrection.

Resurrection is the central belief in Christianity. The starting point is not to ask “what happened?” Rather, to ask what are the New Testament authors trying to say. “What happened?” becomes a very different question than if we started with it. (See Brandon Scott’s book The Trouble with Resurrection.)

Resurrection: Response to suffering and injustice.

Bring a friend along. Resurrection is an important topic. And we have two voices who bring heart and knowledge and wisdom to our understanding. Resurrection is not to be dismissed. And this session with Brandon and Jack is not to be missed.
