In September I introduced our overall theme for this year: evolution of the word: all things change.
In this session we reflect on how life shapes and changes our story and how our story changes our life. Narrative powerfully defines us for better or worse. Narrative can hobble us or release us, individually and collectively.
Here, I note how the story of Jesus changed over time. I also say a little about my own story and how the way I told my story ten, twenty, forty years ago is different than how I would tell it now. What I highlight now is different from what I thought was important then. So in our October session we reflect on changes we construct and changes that shatter our horizon of expectation.
