On this Second Saturday Conversation we explored Holy Saturday, the day in the Christian liturgical calendar between Good Friday and Easter. No liturgy for that day. A day of openness, emptiness. I suggested that this day we reflect on what we think happened on Friday and how our understanding of Friday will affect what we think is meant by resurrection.

I as South African (still under Apartheid rule in SA) was studying Theology (MTh) in the USA and was invited to preach at an Ecumenical service on Good Friday in Holland, Michigan.
