Bill Ellis

Bill was born and raised in Oregon, and is a graduate of Ashland High School and the University of Oregon. Though he is a life long Episcopalian, he was truly converted to Christianity when he discovered the various critical tools for biblical study at Church Divinity School of the Pacific while studying to become an Episcopal priest. Since graduation in 1982 Bill has worked in parish ministry, first with two years at Emmanuel, Coos Bay and St. Mary the Virgin in Reedsport/Gardiner, then at St. Bede’s in Forest Grove, where he spent eight years. He then spent fourteen years at Trinity, Bend, before concluding his career with eleven years as the Dean of St. John the Evangelist Cathedral in Spokane, Washington.
